Our Grand Chef’s Pursuit of the Ultimate Chestnut Dessert
The “Super Mont Blanc” was created by Hotel New Otani’s Executive Grand Chef Shinsuke Nakajima who aspired to offer to hotel guests the “true taste of the finest Japanese chestnuts”. Subtle additions and changes are made yearly to improve, refresh, or to add a twist to the refined taste of the Super Mont Blanc.

Slow-cooked for five hours, premium Ozaki Beef is served deliciously tender as a rich, sumptuous stew. Powders of natural medicinal foods that are known to have beneficial effects for the human body, such as turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, ginseng, coriander, fennel, clove, star anise, Japanese pepper, pine nuts, flaxseeds, orange peel, and goji berries, are also sprinkled into the stew to add a healthy kick.
